What is the Informational Meeting?
It is a presentation on what the Carpenters Union stands for, and how
it operates, the different branches the Carpenters Union represents
(Heavy Highway, Residential, Commercial, Millwrights, Floor Coverers,
Pile Drivers and Millcabinet), and the different paths to join the union,
apprenticeship, testing or organizing.
The Presentation is approximately 45 minutes and then the floor is open
to discussion in smaller groups with a Council Representative. This
presentation is open to anyone who has an interest in the Carpenters
Union. Family members are also encouraged to attend. It is also open
to current members who have an interest in our current organizing activities.
Meeting are scheduled periodically throughout the year.
